This is an awesome idea I agree.I love this blog mostly because it reassures me that my family and I are not the the only ones in Tennessee with a similar view on politics etc,., I have what may seem like an odd request but do know of any reading material that relates to gender identity of the disabled? I apologize for the odd question but I have got very little idea where to start….the reason I thought to ask is the fact that you said you had taught classes on “uncomfortable” topics like gender. Having been disabled my whole life it has been my experience that people equally twitchy about it and maybe there was an overlap?

Thanks a lot! I’m trying to continue my own education informally since my insurance will no longer pay for assistance for the amount of help I need in order to stay a student

It would be very interesting to hear the followup – did it work?

I don’t know…but I think it’d be hard to be too angry. But, I love cake and equality.
