The theme from last Monday’s Tenx9 storytelling event was “Nashville.”
My humble entry is about my on-again, off-again love affair with the city, that began in 1986.
This video misses the first and last sentence of my story. But, that’s ok, because I’m pretty confident you can read.
“When I was a Junior in high school, living in Columbia, South Carolina…” <—- First part.
“He was so sweet to me, treated me so well.” I don’t remember the exact words I said, but I’d say it was something like, “Nashville and I grew up together. It has always been about more than country music. ROCK AND ROLL FOREVER!” Ok, maybe not, but that is what I meant to say.
