Another thing going on in October is through Poverty & the Arts — an organization a friend of mine started. Y’all get out and lets lend a hand.
Is your favorite The Contributor vendor an artist? Do you see the same homeless woman selling her art downtown every day? Throughout October, Poverty & the Arts will be recruiting homeless artists to join our next Adopt a Homeless Artist program: November through March! We will have another Final Exhibition at the end of March.
Help connect those artists to our artist sponsorship program! Connect them to our website or have them meet us during our studio hours every Sunday from 11:30am to 2:30pm at Turnip Green Creative Reuse!
We got it going on Nashville. I love this city. Keep on shining and somehow we will make it to November 1 – the day all candy is half-off.
